Ms. Navarro is an attorney and partner at Haddad & Navarro, one of the nation’s premier criminal defense law firms, which has successfully defended clients in state and federal white collar and non-white collar criminal cases throughout the United States.
Ms. Navarro, born in Lake Placid, Florida, is the daughter of Dr. David Nunez and Lynda Paul. Prior to joining Haddad & Navarro, Ms. Navarro worked as an Assistant State Attorney for Broward County, prosecuting crimes from first degree misdemeanors to life felonies. In this role, Ms. Navarro led the prosecution in over 100 jury and non-jury trials and was also a lead prosecutor in the felony trial unit.
She was federally admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Ms. Navarro is a member of the Florida Bar, Broward County Bar Association, Broward Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Federal Bar Association and Broward County Women Lawyers Association.
Ms. Navarro was awarded “Top 40 Under 40” in Florida for Criminal Defense by The National Trial Lawyers, an honor given to only a select group of lawyers for their superior skills and qualifications in the field. She was also selected as “Client’s Choice” by Avvo.com, and was designated as one of the “10 Best” in Client Satisfaction by the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys.
